Meet the Team

We’ll Keep You Smiling!

Our team … what to say?! They are amazing! The spirit among our team is truly exceptional. Communication is a big thing here: communication with each patient and with each other, so no small details are missed. Every single person here lends a hand and supports their teammates. This allows them to serve our patients in the most incredible way. Procedures are thoroughly explained, comforting amenities are offered, and all the t’s are crossed and the i’s dotted when it comes to the details. These people know dentistry and they know patient service! — Dr. Rentschler

Sandy

Sandy

Office Manager

I really enjoy our patients and seeing them through their needs at RDC. I want each person’s experience here to be happy and positive, from the moment they walk in, through their treatment and checking out. The team at RDC is a great group of people to work with. They are serious about what they do and genuinely care about the comfort and well-being of our patients.

As office manager, Sandy keeps us organized and prepared to give our patients the best possible care and experience. She handles financials, payroll, scheduling, and end-of-month reports, along with treatment plans, insurance matters, and supporting our staff.

Sandy and Jeff live in Arlington with their three cats, Bo, Blue, and Frankie. They love spending time with their children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Sandy loves to paint with watercolors, travel, hike, and search for sea glass on the beach! Someday, she’d love to travel to Tuscany and savor local cheese, bread, pasta, and wine!

Andrea

Andrea

Scheduling Coordinator

I enjoy interacting with and getting to know our patients, and helping to meet their dental needs. We serve a great community!

Andrea works in our front office. She welcomes patients, answers phone calls, accepts payments, schedules appointments, and contacts patients for recall visits. She began her dental career as a dental assistant before transitioning to the front office exclusively.

Andrea and her husband Doug have been married for over 25 years. They have two adult daughters, Carly and Lindy, and two granddaughters, Redley and Ivory. They love to camp in their new fifth wheel RV, being active participants in their granddaughters’ lives, and spend time with family and friends.

John

John

Administrator

I love that what I do allows the rest of the team to focus on patient care and create the best experience for our patients!

Our office administrator, John, handles many of the behind-the-scenes details that keep the practice running. He manages payroll, makes deposits, and updates, upgrades, and manages all computer systems. He also talks with dental vendors, maintains and replaces equipment, and assists with sterilization and hygiene when needed. In addition, you'll often see him helping out at the front desk.

John and Dr. Amanda have been married for 18 years. They have a beautiful, silly, funny, and adventurous daughter, Linkyn, who keeps them busy. John enjoys time with family and friends, kayaking, bike rides with the family, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He’s also a huge fan of the Portland Trail Blazers and Seattle Seahawks.

Kristen and her husband have two kids, two dogs, two cats, and a horse—a full house! They love to travel and watch their kids participate in all their sports activities.

Ramona

Ramona

Registered Dental Hygienist

I love helping people achieve, as well as maintain, the healthy smile they desire while building genuine, trusting, professional relationships with each unique patient. Dentistry is an ever-evolving industry that keeps me engaged and current in its scientific-based evidence approach because I am a true seeker of knowledge and enjoy challenges to continuously learn.

Ramona received her degree in dental hygiene in 1998 from the prestigious dental hygiene program at Shoreline Community College in Seattle. After attaining her license to practice, she worked in various dental settings including community health, private practice, and as a clinical dental hygiene instructor. At our office, she evaluates patients’ overall oral health, provides preventive and therapeutic dental treatments, and offers education about how one can improve their oral health.

Ramona grew up on Whidbey Island and raised her children in Snohomish County. She loves being surrounded by family and the world-renowned, stunning natural beauty of the PNW. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband Jason and granddaughters Ava and Isla. She also enjoys reading, traveling, baking, painting, and collecting antique and rare books.

Kassie

Kassie

Dental Assistant

I love constantly learning new things about dentistry and helping patients achieve the smile they’ve always wanted. But most importantly, helping patients of all ages understand the importance of good oral health. I always look forward to coming in to work because I get to hang out with my second family, who always know how to make me laugh!

Kassie ensures that our office’s workflow is optimized by using good communication with all team members in order to our patients the best of care in the most comfortable and professional environment. Her goal is to make every appointment the best dental experience for our patients! She attended Sno-Isle Skill Center in high school and moved to Bozeman, Montana for her dental assisting program.

In her free time, Kassie’s favorite things to do include re-watching Adam Sandler movies, eating anything cheesy, and taking endless hikes and games of fetch with her dog. She feels incredibly grateful to be able to practice archery at the local shooting range and adventure around her favorite trails at Little Mountain. One day, she’d love to run a goat farm!

Makenna

Makenna

Dental Assistant

My goal is to provide the best care for all the people who walk into our office. I want people to feel comfortable in the dental chair, whether they’re an adult here for a procedure with Dr. Amanda or a kid getting their first cleaning!

Makenna earned her AA from Skagit Valley Community College. Before joining Dr. Amanda, she gained experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and general dentistry. She’s an amazing team member who’s always eager to help, making work easy and fun!

A Woolley alumni and lifetime resident of the area, Makenna enjoys coaching Sedro-Woolley high school softball in the winter. She loves everything about the outdoors, including fishing and hunting, as well as fastpitch softball and anything to do with dirt bikes. One day, she’d love to hike the Teton mountains and make it to Jenny Lake!
